I have been hiking for turns since 1978. I have skied in the mountains of New England, the Sierras, the Alps, British Columbia, the Rocky Mountains, the Intermountain West, and the Cascades, chasing that quiet addicting feeling of effortlessly plunging through billowing plumes of light powder that caress your body and free your soul. When you find that feeling you are in a zone where time stands still, and you experience the weightlessness of floating down the mountainside. Here in Utah, I get that feeling a lot. Nowhere in my travels have I found a place that rivals Utah's Wasatch Mountains for consistently abundant, light powder, favorable climate, and great access. That's why I have chosen to live and play here.
