SCOTT
LEVINE - Born
and raised in New England, Scott started skiing in 1969 on
wooden skis, and leather boots. Groomed runs were nonexistent.
Hard and fast was the norm. By the mid 70's, Scott was venturing
beyond the ski area boundaries in search of soft snow and
a wilderness type experience. In the 80's he rode the ski
bum highway, living at Sugarloaf, Mammoth, and Les Arcs in
the French Alps. During that time he met many wonderful people,
traveled to great places, and enjoyed some awesome experiences.
Now after sampling some of the worlds best snow he has made
Utah his home and his playground. (American Avalanche Assoc
Level 2 avalanche/tour leadership certified, Wilderness First-aid

LEE
FORTIN -
Originally from upstate New York, Lee has been skiing for
34 years; he has spent the last 12 exploring the backcountry
of Utah's Wasatch Mountains. Passionate about ski touring,
Lee has challenged himself to partake in backcountry ski races
such as the "Grand Traverse" from Crested Butte to Aspen.
Now seasoned and a bit mellower, he now prefers to just enjoy
the mountains at touring pace. Today Lee spends his skiing
days touring the backcountry at Powder Mountain or in the
Northern Wasatch Mountains where he lives. Living in the mountains
where he skies enables him to find the best snow and terrain
throughout the ski season. (American
Avalanche Assoc Level 2 avalanche/tour leadership certified,
Wilderness First-aid & CPR certified)
