Our
goal at Pow Mow Backcountry Tours is to provide you with a
safe, exhilarating, and fun ski/snowboard adventure with a
mission to find you the best snow and terrain for your ability.
We are friendly, patient guides who encourage you to ask questions
during your tour so that you can gain knowledge on route selection,
trail-breaking, safe travel practices, snow stability assessment,
weather observations, basic avalanche awareness, and backcountry
etiquette. While avalanche certification is not required to
participate as a guest, we recommend that all those venturing
into the backcountry consider taking a Level I Avalanche Course
as well as CPR, and First Aid.
